Subscription vs. pay-per-credit — which should I pick?
If you have predictable monthly volume, a subscription plan is cheaper per lookup than buying credits one-off — the rate drops as you move up a tier. If your usage is irregular or one-off, buy non-expiring credits at €0.05 each. You can mix both on the same account.
Do credits expire?
Depends how you buy. Subscription credits are a monthly allowance that resets each billing cycle. Pay-per-credit purchases never expire — they stay on your account until you use them.
What counts as one credit?
One container lookup returns full status, route, vessel, and the latest milestone events.
What happens at 0 credits?
Further lookups return a 402 Payment Required response until you upgrade your subscription, buy more credits, or the next billing cycle resets.
